UofT Curling Club Annual Bonspiel is almost here!!!
If you’re up for a fun-filled day of leisurely curling, then check out our Bonspiel on Sat. Nov. 5 at the East York Curling Club. You can grab three friends to register as a team, or enter individually and we’ll team you up with other friendly players. Either way, HURRY and register before all the spots fill up!
2011-2012 Season – (UPDATED July 2011)
Dear Curlers,
Most of you are probably out enjoying the sun rather than thinking about the coming winter (good choice), however it will soon be time to start registering for the next curling season! Registration for all leagues at EYCC will begin in August and continue until all spots at EYCC have been filled. An email will be sent out soon to individuals on our mailing list. If you would like to confirm you are on our mailing list, or you’re new and want to be kept in the loop send us an email at our NEW ADDRESS: utoronto.curling@gmail.com.
If you want to curl at EYCC in a weekly league as a new member, you must email us before September. There are limited spots and some nights fill up faster than others. Once you have been notified by us that you have a curling spot, please make arrangements with us to hand in your form and money. You may also hand them in at one of our September General Meetings, or directly to EYCC. Registration forms are available on our website, and on the Membership page as well.
For those interested in trying curling for the first time or for members to invite friends, we have two main events. Our open house will be scheduled for a Saturday in early October at EYCC. Our annual U of T Bonspiel will be held in November. The 6th Annual Hart House Bonspiel will be held in February 2012. Stay tuned for more details about these events. We will also update you on when the ice at East York is ready in October, and when league play begins.
